This early heat has triggered a flea invasion

We followed along with an A.B.C. Pest Control crew to a call on the northwest side.  What was expected to be a typical flea control problem, ended up being an infestation of fleas.  So bad that whn the technician came from the back yard to check out the problem they were literally crawling up his pants leg. He had to spray them to kill them and get them off of him.  They probably will continue to love it with hot and humid conditions expected the next couple of months at least before we see any major changes. Pest control professionals are also telling us they are making a lot more calls from people reporting more bugs, insect, rodents and even snakes trying to get in their homes. It's all because a lack of moisture they're leaving their home environment and searching elsewhere for food and water. Lol @ E.T. You are such a freakin dumbass ha ha. May the fleas of a thousand camels inherit your pillowcase. Fleas are just part of owning a dog/cat/house animal thing. You think God smote you b/c your oil leaked..No, it's part of maintenance. I got grub worms in my garden. Oh, No! God hates me. I turned a light on and it burnt out...Crap, it's the apocolypse...Keep up the comments brah, you're funny. Nothing happens without a reason. Many of the unsaved believe that life is just a series of random occurances. That is not correct. In fact, the flea infestations encountered by the unsaved are caused by God in response to some sin they have committed. It is the same with fire ant infestations and bed bug attacks; both are God sent punishments for the wicked. Many people do not understand that there are many levels between Heavenly satisfaction and utter destruction. God doesn't always send pillars of fire to punish the wicked. There is no telling what the man in this story has been up to, but he has obviously angered the Lord. Next time, it could be much worse. The only sure fire cure for God's displeasure is to accept His law and come to Jesus. All other paths are strewn with vermin and bad insects and lead straight to Hell. Don't go there; it's too hot. Fleas are one of the hardest external parasites to get rid of. Was have had them in the house before, and it is always a three or four series of treatments to get rid of them. They jump on your legs as you come inside the house they start multiplying if you have a cat or dog. We have an inside cat.

I saw a short video on how to capture mice. It was done by a professional pest control operator from ABC Pest Control. One of the methods he showed was using a glue board. But what did surprise me what that he said once the mouse is caught on the glue board, you throw it away. This struck me as not only odd, but certainly very cruel. Is it standard procedure to catch a mouse on a glue board, just to throw them away in the rubbish if they are still alive?

The guy offered nothing on what to do with them if they’re alive. No humane methods of killing, no release tricks, nothing. Just “throw it out with the trap”. This has really made me question the ethics of such a method. Aren’t these pest control people qualified enough to put an animal out of its misery if it is alive on a trap?

Leaving an animal to starve to death doesn’t sit well with me at all. Especially when there’s the option to kill it humanely.

those glue boards are very popular with pest control people. yes, it is totally inhumane. many pest control companies offer live traps for thoser that prefer humane treatment.
