The MTCS Cougars will be holding an all-sports camp from June 13-16 at the school from 12:15 p.m.-3:30 p.m. for grades pre-kindergarten through sixth grade.

Cost is $75 — $60 for children also attending the MTCS football camp. The camp will include flag football, basketball, soccer, baseball, track and more. Contact MTCS football coach David Peden at 615-210-8661 for more details.

BASEBALL

La Vergne High will hold its 2011 Wolverine Baseball Camp from 9 a.m.-noon June 6-8 at La Vergne High. Cost is $65 per ceamper with a $100 family discount for two campers from the same family. The Middle Tennessee baseball program will once again be offering camps this summer for athletes in both grade school and high school. The camps will be directed by MTSU head coach Steve Peterson and his staff. Camp season will begin with the Elite Summer Camp, which is open to all prospective high-school student athletes and will take place on June 7. The Blue Raider coaching staff, along with other area coaches will instruct and evaluate all campers as they participate in pro-style workouts, positional drills and games. There will also be a Summer Day Camp, which is for ages 7-12 and will run from June 13-16. The camp will feature indoor batting and pitching instruction, games, contests and awards. Central Magnet School's Tigers Summer Baseball Camp will be held from 9 a.m.-noon June 7-9 at Barfield Crescent Park on Field 4. The camp is for ages 6-14. Cost is $65. BASKETBALL

Adonal Foyle, retired NBA player for the Warriors and Magic, will be coming to Murfreesboro on June 11-12 to coach at a basketball camp to raise money for his Kerosene Lamp Foundation. The camp will held June 11 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday will be a family day from noon-4 p.m., with lunch available and the opportunity to watch the championship games, shooting contests and a camp all-star game.
